Standard Carbine Buffer 140 gr
G55608401Buffer weights, Picatinny rails and hand grips.

The buffer is the weight that absorbs the bolt carrier travelling rearwards after firing and, together with the spring, drives it forward again. Its mass directly determines the cycle rate of the weapon and the felt recoil. The Picatinny rail provides the mounting interface for sights and accessories, while the grip is the handle by which the user holds the weapon.
We produce three buffer weights: 140 g standard carbine, 185 g H1 and 230 g H2. A heavier buffer slows the cycle, softens recoil and prevents the mechanism from unlocking too early in short-barrel configurations; a lighter buffer gives a faster cycle. The right choice depends on barrel length and gas system, which is why we manufacture all three. Rails and grips use AL 6013 alloy.
